Discover The Esplanade

Staying on The Esplanade places you in one of Robe's most desirable locations. Morning walks begin with uninterrupted ocean views, while nearby Long Beach invites swimming, fishing and long days by the water.  The Esplanade runs parallel to Long Beach giving you access to South Australias most loved beach.

From here it's a picuturesque walk along Long Beach and the cliff top trail to Robe's cafés, restaurants and boutique shopping, making the walk into town one you will want to do more than once a day.

Layout and Amenities

128 The Esplanade is a large, two storey home.  The ground level has two queen and one bunk room (4 singles), a bathroom with a bath and shower and separate toilet.  There is also a living area with flat screen TV and billiard table plus laundry.  Upstairs contains another two queen rooms both with ensuites, a fully equipped kitchen, dining, living area plus large wrap around deck with BBQ.

All Happyshack accommodations include full bedroom and bathroom linen as well as tea and coffee making facilities and basic kitchen staples.

A Local Tip from Happyshack :)

Set your alarm one morning and wander across the road just before sunrise. The Esplanade is beautifully quiet at that hour, with the Southern Ocean often calm and the light changing by the minute. Grab a coffee from one of Robe's cafés afterwards and take the scenic walk towards the Obelisk. It's a simple ritual, but it's one of the reasons so many of us love living here.

Is 128 The Esplanade close to Long Beach?

YES! It's directly opposite.  There is even a little walkway path through the dunes direct to the shore immediately out the front.

Can I walk into Robe from 128 The Esplanade?

YES! Walk across the road and on the trail to the beach.  Turn left and walk all the way to Robe, just follow the shoreline.  (approx 30 minutes)

Is this home suitable for families?

YES!  128 The Esplanade is one of our all time family favourites.  Loads to keep everyone amused no matter what the weather.

Does 128 The Esplanade have ocean views?

YES!  The water itself can be viewed from the second storey and large deck.  The sand dune impinge some of the actual beach view but thats good for the environment.  (Please stick to the trails).

How many cars can park at 128 The Esplanade?

The property can comfortably park up to six cars on the concrete driveway both behind and in front of the house fence.  There is also a spare block that can be used off season.  We only ask you don't park on the lawns - theyre dramatic.
