Discover The Esplanade

Staying on The Esplanade places you in one of Robe's most desirable locations. Morning walks begin with uninterrupted ocean views, while nearby Long Beach invites swimming, fishing and long days by the water. The Esplanade runs parallel to Long Beach giving you access to South Australias most loved beach.

From here it's a gentle stroll over the bridge and along the cliff top trail to Robe's cafés, restaurants and boutique shopping, making the walk into town one you will want to do more than once a day.

Layout and Amenities

Robe on The Beach is a large holiday home on one level.   It has three King bedrooms, one room with two singles and a fifth bedroom which has two singles plus a small lounge area at the rear of the house.  All the living is at the front of the house with the ocean views and the bedrooms plus two bathrooms are all down the hall.

All Happyshack accommodations include full bedroom and bathroom linen as well as tea and coffee making facilities and basic kitchen staples.

Set your alarm one morning and wander across the road just before sunrise. Foxs Beach is beautifully quiet at that hour, with the Southern Ocean often calm and the light changing by the minute. Enjoy a coffee on the deck and then stroll into town for a bit of retail therapy or a naughty sweet treat before strolling back home.  It's a simple ritual, but it's one of the reasons so many of us love living here.

Is Robe On The Beach close to Long Beach?

YES! it's right at the (town end) beginning. There is  a little beach between the outlet and Long Beach called Foxs Beach and that is straight across the road.

Can I walk into Robe from Robe On The Beach?

YES! Walk out the front door and turn left and walk all the way to Robe, just follow the shoreline. (approx 20 minutes)

Is this home suitable for families?

Does Robe On The Beach have ocean views?

YES! Foxs Beach is directly opposite and after a big storm in 2025 all of the native shubbery is gone and you can sit and look at the waves breaking.
