T's & C's (the simple version). 

If you can’t be bothered reading the entire terms and conditions (and who would want to on holidays) at least read this:

1.Cancellations: Once your booking has been confirmed and your deposit paid your deposit is non-refundable. If the booking is cancelled in writing more than 30 days from the date of commencement of your arrival, you will be released from the liability for the full balance of hire. (Credit card merchant fees are non-refundable.) Should you need to cancel the booking less than 30 days prior to arrival you will be able to move the dates to suit you better however the full payment will still be required as per the original booking. Bookings made less than 14 days prior to intended arrival date are paid for in full upon booking and are non-refundable.

We recommend that you take out comprehensive holiday cancellation and protection insurance with a reputable insurance company to cater for any unforeseen circumstances which may arise including accident, ill health or any other matters beyond your reasonable control, as once the booking is confirmed and receipted, you will be responsible for payment of the full rental.

2.Changes to Accommodation Booking - Please choose your Happyshack carefully as no refund or change of shack will be possible once your booking is confirmed. Outside of 30 days amendments will be charged a $50 fee.

3.No Parties Please: A strict no party policy applies at all Happyshack properties. We ask you keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and ensure any outside flood lights are switched off by this time for the comfort and privacy of nieghbours. "Don’t make us come out there" – it will cost you.

4.No Smoking: Don’t smoke inside any Happyshack property. If you do we will charge you for the cleaning. Same goes for butts – if we have to emu dance around the grounds picking up butts - we will charge you.

5.Parking: Please don’t park cars or boats on the lawns of the properties.

6.Irrigation: Please don’t mess with the irrigation control box. If it’s watering your bikes or boards give us a call and we’ll come fix it.

7.Pets: Don’t bring a dog if you haven’t checked it with our office. Never let a dog on the bed, the couch or any other people furniture. If you bring a dog and have cleared it with our office, for goodness sake look after it and pick up the poo.

8.Departure: Put your bins out, do the dishes, put everything back where you found it. Turn off the A/C, heater and TV, close the windows and lock the door. Drive safe.

9.Damage: If you break it - tell us. If it’s not your fault we will let you off, if it is sort of your fault we’ll go you halves, if it’s your fault and you don’t report it – you’ll pay for the whole lot plus pay for the staff time it takes us to work out that it was you who did it.
